


Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa
Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa is the Bishop of the Diocese of North America and Europe. He completed his doctoral degree on "Change and continuity in religious life of Ezhavas of Southern Travancore" at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada and has a Master’s degree in Religious Studies.
Mar Theodosius is a scholar and theologian who has authored numerous books. His books on Reform Movements in Kerala and their impact on Socio-Economic and Religious Life of the People have made a mark in academic circles.
His life is a model for Christian discipleship and he is greatly admired for his leadership skills which encourage and motivate people to aspire to become true disciples of Christ. He is a compassionate thinker with a remarkable vision for the Diocese that comes from a divine grace and an understanding of the needs and challenges of this diaspora community.
The psalmist says in Psalms 107, "For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things". Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Theethos Episcopa
Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Theethos Episcopa is the Diocesan Bishop of Mumbai. He was ordained as a priest on June 14, 1985 at Kottarakara MTC by Easow Mar Timotheos Episcopa. He was ordained as a Ramban on May 7, 2011 and consecrated as an Episcopa on August 13, 2011.
He received his Master’s degree in Sociology from Indore University and M.Th. and Ph.D. from Bangalore Dharmaram Theological College on “Holy Communion and Spirituality”. During his doctoral studies, Thirumeni attended Amsterdam University, Netherlands.
He is a good scholar, vibrant leader and eloquent speaker. Thirumeni is a keen observant and enthusiastic person. Being young at heart, Thirumeni motivates the youths of our Church in community related Activities. He is a mission oriented person with zeal. His words and thoughts are like jewels that live in the heart and soul and remain as blessed memories years after they have been spoken.
This will be Thirumeni’s first visit to the North America Diocese as Bishop and the conference will be a great opportunity to gain valuable insights and thoughts from him on the theme.
Rev. Dr. M.C.Thomas
Dr. M.C. Thomas is the Professor of Old Testament at the Mar Thoma Theological Seminary, Kottayam since 2003. Achen has obtained his Bachelor of Divinity (BD) and Master of Theology degree in Old Testament from Serampore University. He has completed his Th.M in Princeton University, and M.Phil, and Ph.D in Old Testament from Drew University (New Jersey). He was ordained in 1986, and served in various parishes in our diocese, including St. Stephen's Mar Thoma Church (NJ), New Jersey Mar Thoma Church (Randolph,NJ), and Rochester Mar Thoma Church. Now he is serving as the Chief Editor of Vedapadana Sahayi (Devotional). Achen is a biblical scholar and authority on contemporary Old Testament scholarship.
